Tools For Schools Campaign
Thank you to everyone that supported this campaign - over 80 students returned to school this year with a new school bag, lunch box, drink bottle and stationary. Your generosity has helped children to feel included and lightened the load during what can be an anxious time for any child.
We had this lovely feedback from a social worker:
"A colleague told me how excited she was to be collecting Tools for Schools items. She was delivering one bundle to a mum who was reluctant to take her child to school on the first day, as she could not send them with the basics such as a backpack and lunch box".
The highly anticipated movie Beauty and the Beast is released this month and we are inviting you to join us for a screening at the Regent Multiplex on Sunday 26 March at 3.35pm.
Tickets are $15 person with a portion of the sales going to Eureka Mums.
You can purchase tickets here. If you want to print out a poster for your kinder, school or workplace please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can send you one to print out.
We will need to close briefly on the following dates during the school holidays.
- Closed on Friday 7 April and reopen on Tuesday 18 April.
- Closed on the 25 April for ANZAC Day.
We can now rehome clothing from premmie all the way up to size 12 Years, in response to requests from social workers and thanks to your generous donations! We have plenty of clothing for newborn to 2 years, but we never have enough big kids clothing to fill requests.
The number of requests we are receiving for double prams has been steadily increasing. A double pram can be life-changing to a family with twins, or a baby and toddler - it allows them to walk older children to school, get to medical appointments and visit the park and shops. We currently have several families on our wait list for double pram, if you or someone you know has one to give, we would love to rehome it for you.
If you can help with these items, or have other infant equipment and clothing to give away, please visit this page to find out what we can rehome or contact email@example.com to ask about our collection shifts.
We are also lucky to have established relationships with suppliers that can give us heavily discounted nursery equipment - if you would like to make a donation or a regular monthly gift, you can help us purchase what we need when stock is low.
Recently some of our wonderful volunteers have moved onto new jobs or changes in family circumstances have meant they can no longer volunteer with us.
We are always we are looking for people to help with collections, sorting, bundling and whole range of other tasks.
If you have a couple of hours to spare on a Tuesday through to a Friday between 9.30am and 3pm we would love to hear from you. Just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will talk to you about when we can help each other.
I hope you enjoy the rest of the warm weather and thank you again for sharing our commitment to families in need.
