Buckle Up Baby

Help us collect and rehome 50 car restraints in October and November. Car restraints are essential for the safe transportation of infants and children, and yet they are so expensive to buy. They are one of the most common items we are asked for, and we never have enough to go around.

A car restraint needs to be less than 8 years old and must comply with the Australian/New Zealand Safety Standard AS/NZS 1754. There should be a date of manufacture printed on a sticker on the back, side or base of your car restraint.

Please email the make, model and date of manufacture of your baby car seat to: donate@eurekamums.org so that we can confirm we can rehome it (as some makes and models have recently been recalled). Please note that we are not insured to pass on car restraints from hard rubbish as there is no way we can be sure that it has not been in an accident. We do not rehome cushion booster seats, booster seats without tether straps, or foam booster seats.

If you do not have a car restraint to pass on but would like to make a donation of money towards the purchase of a new car restraint please donate here. Our generous suppliers have a special price for this campaign of just $100 for a reversible car restraint for a newborn.
