Workplace Volunteering

Spend the day with us volunteering with your team.

Spending hands-on time in our warehouse allows your staff to really appreciate the need in the Ballarat community for the service we provide to families.

Whilst cleaning prams or sorting clothes or packing toiletries, we explain some of the causes of disadvantage of the people we help, provide feedback we have received from case workers and recipients, and demonstrate how quickly we are able to get items into the homes of those who really need it.

We welcome groups of up to 5 workplace volunteers on Fridays.

We start at 9.30am with a safety briefing so it is important that everyone arrives at that time. The day typically finishes at 3:00pm.

Please wear comfortable, closed-toes shoes for safety, and please note that we are a nut-free environment.

Some of the activities you may be involved in include cleaning and safety checking items such as prams, highchairs and car seats, sorting and packing clothing and toys, or preparing special toiletries packs for mums and babies.

If any of your team is planning to bring donations, please ask them to check what can be rehomed first.

We kindly request a financial contribution of $220 (inc GST) per group, per day, which ensures that you have a trained staff member guiding your team throughout the day and that you get the most out of your volunteering experience with us.

Alternatively, please chat with us about pro bono services or material donations you may be able to offer in lieu of a financial contribution.  If you have any further questions or would like to make a booking please contact us. We look forward to your team joining us here at Eureka Mums!
